Rock En Seine, back with the 2026 edition

The festival season is here! And in Paris, the Rock en Seine festival is always highly anticipated by festival-goers.

Known for its exceptional lineup, which is both rich and diverse, this year once again promises to be absolutely insane. Rock en Seine is a five-day festival long seen as a reference in the rock scene, but has managed to evolve over time and now offers a wide variety of artists and musical styles. Above all, it aims to showcase both emerging and major acts. There is something for everyone!

Rock fans will find major headliners such as The Cure, Wilco, or The Black Keys. Each of them brings their own identity and showcases many facets of the genre. Alongside them, there is also the new wave of British rock: artists built for live performances, ready to take everything in their path. We could mention the legendary Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Franz Ferdinand, and Amyl and The Sniffers, an artist full of explosive energy.

Rock en Seine is also a festival that has been developing a strong commitment to sustainable development for several years. It features workshops dedicated to recycling, material reuse, and second-hand goods.

These spaces help raise real awareness among the public about more responsible consumption habits, while also offering fun and accessible activities. They have even created dedicated areas for “baby rockers” to welcome children and their parents. But that’s not all: across the festival grounds, there are relaxation zones to take a break and recharge before heading back to the shows, as well as awareness stands and listening spaces. Everything is designed so that everyone can feel as comfortable as possible.

One of Rock en Seine’s real strengths is also its ability to host today’s most talked-about artists. I’m thinking in particular of the incredible Sombr, who is taking everything by storm, as well as Tyler, The Creator, or Djo and his hit everyone has on their lips, “End of Beginning.” Lorde also made a notable comeback this year, alongside Miki, a rising star of the French scene, and the charming duo Wet Leg, who are no strangers to Rock en Seine.

The Rock en Seine teams continue to evolve, particularly by placing strong emphasis on accessibility. Measures are in place to allow people with disabilities to fully enjoy the concerts. These include audio description services for visually impaired festival-goers, as well as adapted solutions for deaf or hard-of-hearing audiences, ensuring a more inclusive experience.

Inclusivity is also reflected in spaces dedicated to younger audiences. A stage specially designed for children allows families to share the festival experience. Adapted concerts, fun activities, and artistic discoveries offer younger audiences an introduction to live performance. This family-friendly dimension helps make Rock en Seine accessible to a wide range of audiences.

Support for emerging talent is another essential pillar of the festival’s identity. A dedicated stage allows up-and-coming artists to perform in front of a large audience, and for some, even for the very first time in France.

In a context where gaining visibility is increasingly difficult, this initiative plays an important role in renewing the music scene. Many bands today have found their audience after performing at Rock en Seine.

This combination of artistic excellence, environmental commitment, social awareness, support for young artists, and openness to diverse audiences makes Rock en Seine much more than just a series of concerts. The festival stands as a complete cultural space, bringing together a wide variety of people. Rock en Seine is one of the most successful examples of a festival that balances entertainment, responsibility, and evolution.
