Atta Boy will be performing at Bowery Ballroom on July 17!

On June 16, 2026, L.A. indie rock band Atta Boy announced they will be performing at Bowery Ballroom on July 17 in celebration of their recently announced album, Silt, which will be out June 26. The band shared their newest single, “Oh, Mama,” that’s filled with warmth and a nurturing tone that invites the listener on a journey of the narrator loving their mom. And the best way to do that is to express it in a song. Vulnerability and emotional honesty linger over “Oh, Mama,” creating an intimate vocal performance that allows the song to feel authentic. Human connection is so important, and society is slowly losing that as the world becomes increasingly controlled by technology. “Oh, Mama” is the kind of single that will have listeners wanting to take a step back and understand that emotional connections are important for flourishing as a human being.

Silt is a deeper exploration of the songwriting and recording process. Built with more pedals, textures, amps, guitars, and musical influences than they dared use before, the title track began life from an alternate tuning during an Adrienne Lenker School of Song workshop, and sonic surprises lurk like the regal horns of “Oh Mama” or the hefty fuzz of “Full Cloud.” Inevitably, new sounds emerged when Dashel worked the synths and Lewis played Freddy’s drum kit instead of his own.
