PRESIDENT has announced their debut full-length album, Blood Of Your Empire, out September 4 via Atlantic Records. The U.K.-based collective has also shared the video for the album’s first single, “DOOM LOOP.”
Built around heavy music, electronic experimentation, and cinematic atmosphere, PRESIDENT has quickly become one of the more intriguing names in modern heavy music. Operating with a minimalist, anonymous presence since launching in 2025, the group has leaned into mystery without letting the mystery become the whole trick.
“DOOM LOOP” introduces Blood Of Your Empire with a meditation on time, presence, and the strange way people often recognize the value of a moment only after it has disappeared. PRESIDENT described the song as being about “the strange tragedy of time,” and the way people chase it, waste it, fear it, and only understand its weight once it is gone.
The video for “DOOM LOOP” matches that existential pull, giving the song a visual world rooted in tension, atmosphere, and the kind of dark emotional scale PRESIDENT has been steadily building. It is heavy without relying only on volume, cinematic without feeling hollow, and direct enough to make the message land, be present while life is happening, not just when it becomes memory.
Blood Of Your Empire was born from PRESIDENT’s own confrontation with existential crisis, belief, mortality, and humanity’s relationship with faith. The album lives in the tension between religion’s ability to inspire compassion, beauty, and purpose, and its long history of suffering, bloodshed, and control. Light little topic. Just faith, death, empire, and human contradiction.
That tension appears central to the record’s identity. Rather than treating faith as a simple symbol or aesthetic shortcut, PRESIDENT frames the album as a space for fear, confusion, and long-standing questions. The result is positioned as something more personal than spectacle, even as the project continues to operate with a carefully controlled sense of distance and anonymity.
The album artwork features Eugène Delacroix’s painting “The Battle of Poitiers,” which hangs in the Louvre. It is a fitting choice for a record titled Blood Of Your Empire, pulling history, violence, faith, conquest, and beauty into the same frame. Subtle, maybe not, but definitely effective and powerful nonetheless.
Fresh off their first full U.S. run supporting Bad Omens, PRESIDENT will return this fall for their first-ever U.S. headline tour. Produced by Live Nation, the run kicks off September 4 at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville and continues through major markets including Chicago, Brooklyn, Toronto, Boston, Atlanta, Denver, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Houston, and Dallas.
The entire tour is already sold out, including the September 26 stop at Summit Music Hall in Denver. Support comes from Cenobia and Showing Teeth on select dates, with Cenobia appearing as the only listed support on the Charlotte date.
