The Black Dahlia Murder and Arch Enemy announce Wrath Across North America Tour

The Black Dahlia Murder and Arch Enemy are joining forces this fall for the “Wrath Across North America” co-headlining tour, a 30-date run bringing two of melodic death metal’s heaviest names back to North American stages.

The tour kicks off on October 5 in Riverside, California, and runs through November 16 in Seattle, Washington, with support from Septicflesh, Crypta, and Thrown Into Exile. The Colorado stop lands October 9 at Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, which should give local metal fans plenty of time to prepare their necks, schedules, and questionable pit-related decisions.

The Black Dahlia Murder drummer Alan Cassidy kept things direct in the announcement: “I’d take my arch enemy to see The Black Dahlia Murder and Arch Enemy!… Then throw them in the pit. See you this Fall!”

Arch Enemy guitarist Michael Amott called the lineup “built for those who live and breathe pure fucking metal,” adding that the band looks forward to bringing a new era of Arch Enemy to North America. He is not wrong about the lineup. It is less a tour package and more a controlled demolition with merch tables.

The Black Dahlia Murder continues to tour behind Servitude, their tenth studio album, released in 2024 via Metal Blade Records. The record marked a powerful new chapter for the band, carrying forward their melodic death metal identity with the kind of precision, speed, and ferocity that have kept them one of the genre’s most consistent forces.

For fans who caught The Black Dahlia Murder’s recent “Spring Fling” run, the fall tour gives the band another chance to bring that momentum into bigger rooms. Their live show remains one of extreme metal’s most reliable stress tests: technical enough to impress, violent enough to move a crowd, and fast enough to make responsible hydration seem like a distant fantasy.

Arch Enemy enters the tour in the middle of a new era of their own. Founded in 1996 by guitarist Michael Amott, the Swedish metal institution has spent three decades blending razor-edged riffs, twin guitar leads, anthemic songwriting, and extreme metal force into a catalog that stretches from Black Earth through Wages of Sin, War Eternal, Will To Power, Deceivers, and 2025’s Blood Dynasty.

The band recently introduced former Once Human vocalist Lauren Hart as its new frontwoman, opening another chapter in a career defined by evolution, precision, and relentless touring. Their latest single, “To The Last Breath,” serves as a statement of intent for the refreshed lineup while keeping the band’s trademark ferocity intact.

With Septicflesh, Crypta, and Thrown Into Exile rounding out the bill, “Wrath Across North America” is built like a full evening of extremity rather than a simple two-band package. Septicflesh brings symphonic death metal weight, Crypta adds sharp Brazilian death metal force, and Thrown Into Exile opens the door with a modern heavy edge.
