A night at The Sinclair with Jessica Baio

Jessica Baio The Sinclair

Jessica Baio performed at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA, on June 16 as part of her “The Other Side Tour.” The opening act, Britton, was really good. One particular song that she played that stuck out to me was “The Cycle.” I would describe it as this dark pop sound that has an emotional feel to it.

During Britton’s set, someone in the crowd had mentioned that they were sober. She then reached out, held their hand, and told them that she was proud of them.

The crowd was enthusiastic from the start as Jessica stepped onto the stage wearing a white top, sparkly black shorts, and black boots. Her set was so fun, and she kept everyone engaged throughout the night. I was definitely impressed by her stage presence.

One highlight was when she went into the crowd during a song. This made the show feel so much more personal. I think it’s really cool when artists do that. She also played some acoustic songs with just a guitar, which gave those moments a more raw, stripped-down feel compared to the rest of her set.

Another moment that stood out to me was the group of girls in front of me. At the beginning, one of them said it was her first concert. They stayed excited the whole time, singing along and talking about what was happening. Jessica noticed that it was her first concert, which was really sweet, and then proceeded to ask the rest of the crowd if anyone else was at their first concert too; many of them cheered.

Ferrari” got one of the biggest reactions of the night. It is a catchy, high-energy song that everyone was clearly very into.

Overall, the night at The Sinclair was enjoyable!
