Colours of Ostrava 2026 – Who’s ready?

Colours of Ostrava

Only three weeks until the Czech Republic hosts its long-awaited Colours of Ostrava festival, and the hype has definitely been present. Whether you’ve already got tickets or not, let’s take a little time to look through some of the acts who will be performing, and you might just be convinced to buy some tickets if you haven’t already got some.

The headliners this year are Twenty One Pilots, LP, Tomora, Moby, Teddy Swims, and Lorde. Twenty One Pilots have opted to do a high amount of festivals around Europe instead of a full tour for their latest album Breach, before taking a few-year break from music to focus on their families. Due to this, each festival they have been announced at has been completely packed out and full of dedicated fans wanting to celebrate their new music. Lorde is also doing a high number of festivals this year, making a massive appearance at All Points East to headline in London in August. Her latest album Virgin came out last year, and she has been doing many festivals on the back of that, including a surprise performance at the world-famous Glastonbury Festival last year, always bringing in a big crowd.

A little lower down on the lineup, the artists are Atarashii Gakko!, Audrey Nuna, Ibrahim Maalouf, Paris Paloma, Queen Omega & The Royal Souls, Skunk Anansie, and The Libertines. Out of these artists, I am most excited about Paris Paloma. She is an incredible songwriter and very feminist in her music; most people may know her song “labour.” I have never seen her live before; however, there are so many clips of her show that look fantastic, and she recently performed live with Sofia Isella to really push women’s rights, collaborating in a really empowering and inspiring way.

Even further down the album, here are two artists you should check out at the festival over the weekend. Blair Davie really stuck out to me in this category – a non-binary artist growing up in Perth, Scotland, who was constantly surrounded by music and writing songs as a creative outlet during childhood. They have a very distinct indie-pop sound that I think is worth checking out. Della is the second artist who stood out to me, growing up in the underground scene of Cyprus before moving over to Liverpool. She released her debut EP in 2025 and has proved herself to be a very strong live performer.

For the rest of the line-up, I wanted to highlight two small artists you should look out for. One artist who really stood out to me during my first read through was Bea.K, a 15-year-old singer-songwriter from Prague. She has a great amount of songs, but if you want to start your listening journey off with something familiar, check out her cover of “Watch” by Billie Eilish. The second artist I wanted to mention is a Czech band called Mirai. They have been named “one of the most successful Czech bands of today” by the festival, with their style described as “domestic pop.” I am excited to see what they bring to the festival!
