The Pretty Reckless DEAR GOD album and tour released

The Pretty Reckless released their fifth album DEAR GOD on Friday, June 26, 2026, and are preparing for their “DEAR GOD TOUR on July 10, 2026. The new album is a diary journey by Taylor Momsen and The Pretty Reckless, exploring themes of loss, faith, resilience, love, and redemption through some of the band’s most personal songwriting to date. The band has opened themselves up and become vulnerable, intense, and creatively fearless. The DEAR GOD album release comes on the heels of When I Wake Up,” the third song on the record, named No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. The milestone further cements the band’s status as one of the most successful acts in modern rock radio and sets the stage for what is their most raw and uncompromising release to date.

Taylor Momsen herself states, “DEAR GOD is the most honest record we’ve ever made. Every song came from a real place, whether I wanted to admit it or not. There was no hiding behind characters or concepts this time. It’s all there…the doubt, the anger, the hope, the questions. We made the record we needed to make, and I’m incredibly proud of it.”

The Pretty Reckless, with their frontwoman Taylor Momsen, have been burning up the airways and tour circuit opening for AC/DC for two years; the band has made history as the first female-fronted band to score eight No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. Their fourth album, Death by Rock and Roll, is a visceral exploration of life, loss, and the enduring spirit of rock. In 2025, they released their holiday EP “Taylor Momsen’s Pretty Reckless Christmas,” led by a reimagined version of Momsen’s iconic song Where Are You Christmas? The band’s fifth studio album, DEAR GOD, is out now and expands the sonic world they’ve become beloved for inhabiting.
