The legacy of late rapper, entrepreneur, and community leader Nipsey Hussle lives on with the upcoming release of PROLIFIC, a collaborative album with fellow Los Angeles rapper Bino Rideaux. Although the project was recorded nearly a decade ago, it will officially be released on August 14 through All Money In, Out The Blue, and Atlantic Records — one day before what would have been Nipsey’s 41st birthday.
The 15-track album features production from several longtime collaborators who also worked on Nipsey’s critically acclaimed Victory Lap, including Mike & Keys, Mixed By Ali, Cyrus Taghipour, Axel Folie, Larrance Dopson, Lamar “Mars” Edwards, and Garnett “G” Flynn. The album is out now for pre-save, and fans can pre-order a variety of physical editions and exclusive merchandise.
According to Nipsey’s brother, Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, PROLIFIC is being released exactly as Nipsey intended. Rather than piecing together unfinished material, the album represents a complete body of work that Nipsey and Bino created together from beginning to end, making the release especially meaningful to his family and team. “He was very proud of this project, and we feel blessed to finally be able to share it with the world,” says Blacc Sam.
The announcement is accompanied by the release of the album’s latest single, “Sacrifices,” along with an official music video directed by Norberto Garcia. Featuring sparse production, pulsating bass, and hypnotic samples, the song highlights the chemistry between Bino’s smooth delivery and Nipsey’s thoughtful storytelling. Bino described the recording process as a seamless creative experience driven by strong collaboration and inspiration.
The music video for “Reckless” featuring Static Major, the album’s lead single, is out now. Produced by Mike & Keys, the song debuted during the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, echoing the rollout of Victory Lap during the city’s previous All-Star celebration in 2018. Its release generated widespread attention across major hip-hop and music outlets like Complex, Hypebeast, XXL, HotNewHipHop, and more.
In anticipation of the album, Bino Rideaux and Blacc Sam recently appeared on the All The Smoke podcast to discuss the project’s history and what it means to finally share it with the public.
Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux began collaborating in 2016 before releasing their “No Pressure” EP the following year. Both that project and PROLIFIC were recorded during an especially productive 90-day run.
Following the success of Victory Lap, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, earned double-platinum certification, and received a Grammy nomination for “Best Rap Album,” Nipsey continued working with Bino on what would eventually become PROLIFIC.
The finished album showcases the fellowship of both pillars of the West Coast at a creative high point. It reveals a deep level of introspection, vulnerability, and purpose. PROLIFIC is more than a collection of songs; it serves as a tribute to Nipsey Hussle’s lasting influence while celebrating the artistic bond he shared with Bino Rideaux.
Reflecting on the release, Bino said that finally completing the project alongside Nipsey’s team was both rewarding and humbling, saying, “It’s an honor to have footprints alongside the greatest.”
