On June 2, Lifetime announced its latest film, “Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery,” was set to premiere on June 6 at 8 EST/7 CST. Cassie Davies, who is played by Erica Campbell, is having to live with the consequences of her actions. While Cassie is going through her consequences, her loving husband Daniel, played by CJ Williams, sticks by her side, but his love is put to the test. Now what puts them through the test of love? Glad you asked! TJ Byers will shape the love triangle, playing Troy Stamps, as the side piece. Now the last three starring in the movie are Jasmine Guy, being an enablement speaker, Anita Pierce, the former NBA winner, and Matt Barnes pulling the whole movie together, making his debut as Detective Wilson.
“Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery” follows Cassie Davies, a celebrated Christian feminist, who, out of nowhere, gets targeted for a blackmail scheme. What is she being blackmailed with?! Some damn good evidence rises that Cassie is not just with her husband but has a piece of cake on the side…

Lifetime brings faith into the mix with their latest film. If you’ve grown up watching Lifetime, you know the network is known for its amazing storytelling, based on true stories or stories that are fictional but could happen in everyday life. Growing up, I’ve watched countless Lifetime movies, but I don’t remember faith really popping in the story like this one. That is one of the reasons that this film really stands out, putting a stronger focus on faith and the challenges that come with it.
