Singer-songwriter Ashe signed with Atlantic Records and announced publishing deals with Doomsday/Universal Music Group Publishing Group last Tuesday. This marks a new chapter in the singer-songwriter’s career, opening the door for her next chapter as an artist. Alongside the announcement, Ashe confirms that new music is on the way, with more details expected in the coming months.
“I feel like I’ve been waiting my whole career for the partnership I’ve found at Atlantic. Joining the label and this team was an effortless decision,” Ashe details. “From our first meeting, I felt uniquely understood. They’re thoughtful, intentional, and genuinely care. The fact that our first meeting involved tacos, cookies, and painting pottery told me they understood me. I’m immensely grateful to begin this next chapter with people I trust so deeply.”
Ashe also announced she will be hitting the road with Benson Boone this summer, opening for his “Wanted Man Tour.” She takes the stage for West Coast dates, making stops in Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, and more. Ashe will join Boone on tour beginning on July 30 in Denver and wrapping up on August 15 in San Diego.
Last June, Ashe and longtime friend and collaborator FINNEAS joined forces to create the indie-pop band The Favors. The duo released debut album The Dream, featuring tracks such as “The Little Mess You Made,” before announcing a brief tour shortly after. This passion project showed a different side of Ashe’s artistry, highlighting her versatility as a songwriter. With the blend of the duo’s warm songwriting and the upbeat production, they were able to create an almost nostalgic sound, different from their solo material.
