Summer Walker brings her “Still Finally Over It Tour” to Oakland

Summer Walker returned to Oakland, California, for the first time since 2019 for her “Still Finally Over It Tour.” Oakland was one of her final stops on the tour, with other stops including Brooklyn, Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, and more. Production made this show special, including an extended stage, a second stage in the middle of the arena, confetti, and many outfit changes.

Opening the concert, Summer Walker was dressed looking ready for a wedding. Kicking off the setlist, she came out to “Finally Over It,” while pushing a doll of an elderly man in a wheelchair into a pit. The concert felt like a musical or a play set in the ’60s or ’70s. The outfits and props she used throughout the show included sparkly corsets, feathered fans, big white dresses, and more.

Many acts were sprinkled between songs and outfit changes as well, including suspended pole dancing, fire spinning, and many choreographed dances. After the first couple of songs, Walker was rolled out on stage, sitting in a gigantic martini glass, performing “Stretch You Out” and “Nobody Else.”

Ending off the night, Walker performed “FMT,” sitting closest to the crowd. She thanked the fans of Oakland and danced off the stage to Marilyn Monroe’s “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend.”
