On Saturday, July 4, 2026, Mumford & Sons celebrated a decade since their last headline set at BST Hyde Park by bringing music icons Shania Twain and Hozier on stage with them.

The English folk rock band were the fourth headliners at this year’s American Express presents BST Hyde Park series in London, England. From start to finish, they performed a remarkable 19-song setlist – view down below – full of globally known hits and crowd favourites, including those that belong to their unexpected guests.
The incredible two-hour set opened with “Begin Again” from their 2026 studio album, Prizefighter, before transitioning into one of the band’s most popular songs to date, “I Will Wait.” Since its release in 2012, the track has accumulated over 900 million streams on Spotify and never fails to get the crowd singing and dancing. From then on, the band’s headlining set was in full swing, and many thanks were in order. “We’re stoked to be home. Thank you for being here with us…I swear there’s nothing like Hyde Park on a sunny summer’s day,” said Marcus Mumford, frontman and lead singer of the Grammy-winning band.

Six songs into their astonishing set, it was time for the band’s first special guest, Hozier, who was met with much applause by the London festival crowd. The famous Irish singer joined the stage just in time to perform “Rubber Band Man,” the 2026 collaboration between the two artists. He stayed on to perform the 2009 fan-favourite “Awake My Soul” with the band, which they have sung together previously. The band’s relationship with the “Take Me To Church” singer goes way back, with Mumford once describing his dear friend as “the kindest man in music.”

After getting through band introductions and performing a few more songs, such as “Little Lion Man,” the main show was brought to a close with the iconic 2015 single “The Wolf.” Shortly after, the surprising five-track encore began with the high-energy “Rushmere” from their 2025 album of the same name. Then the true shock reveal of the night came, with Mumford teasing that they had a “cheeky” surprise for the London crowd. “It was a surprise for us too actually…let’s give it up for Shania Twain!” Fresh off supporting Harry Styles on his “Together, Together” tour at Wembley Stadium, the Canadian country-pop icon joined the band on stage for “Here,” a newer track originally recorded with popular country star Chris Stapleton.
“Shania Twain is my f***ing hero, ladies and gents. You don’t understand, you don’t get it. This is a very big deal for me. And guess what? She played Wembley Stadium tonight, and she’s here. That is gangster,” exclaimed Mumford.

Obviously, performing one song would not be enough for the legendary Shania Twain. “Thanks for having me, honestly, this is so awesome. What are we going to do now? Are we going to jam out something sassy?” The answer was an overwhelming “yes,” as the intro to “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” began.
Mumford & Sons’ extraordinary headlining set was closed with “The Cave.” Marcus Mumford gave one last toast to the wondrous London crowd, “I’m lost for words tonight. All I’m thinking about is the football and Shania Twain… If all of you mother f***ers keep showing up, we’ll keep going.” And just like that, the English band’s performance of a lifetime at this year’s BST Hyde Park came to an incredible end.
