Last Wednesday, Nashville singer-songwriters Hudson Ingram and Sydney Rose released the official performance video for their duet, “Don’t Get Me Started,” now available through Long Pond Music/Interscope Records. Filmed in an intimate studio setting, the live performance strips the song back to its core, allowing the pair’s vocals and the song’s emotion to take center stage.

Originally appearing on Ingram’s latest EP, “The Long Way Home (Vol. 1),” the track was produced alongside Adam Melchor and Jack Schrepferman. The collaboration pairs Ingram’s reflective songwriting with Rose’s soft, understated vocals, creating one of the project’s standout moments. Reflecting on the video, Ingram shared that filming in Nashville alongside Rose made the performance feel more authentic than staged, capturing a genuine moment between the two artists.

The performance video arrives just days after the duo performed “Don’t Get Me Started” together for the first time at Rolling Stone’s Stateside Festival in Kingston, New York, where Rose made a surprise appearance during Ingram’s set. The collaboration has continued to resonate with fans since the release of “The Long Way Home (Vol. 1),” the first chapter in Ingram’s planned trilogy of EPs exploring themes of growing up, leaving home, and finding your way back.

After the breakout success of “We Hug Now,” which has accumulated more than 190 million streams, the Georgia-born singer-songwriter has completed sold-out headline tours across the United States, Europe, and Australia. She will head back on the road this September with Mon Rovîa as support on his North American tour.
