Temples return to the stage for a world tour this fall in support of their newest record, BLISS; a searing 10-track LP out through V2 Records that showcases the best of the British outfit’s alchemy of modern dance-pop drumming and lyrical content and vintage, sun-soaked psychedelic guitar tones. 

The classic DNA of Temples is injected throughout BLISS, with lead singer and guitarist James Bagshaw’s reverb-soaked vocal performance and Thomas Walmsley and Adam Smith’s vintage tones on full display. Interestingly, Temples ventures into a more experimental synth and programmed drum sound on BLISS, with drummer Rens Ottink effortlessly blending ’90s electronic drum production reminiscent of Aphex Twin and Daft Punk, while occupying a similar sonic space as contemporaries Pond. Temples ties all of these influences together in a way that invites the listener to step into their world, making the heat waves of 2026 feel more like a European vacation in the mid-2010s, with all of the dancing and none of the modern problems. 

The album has already been well-received, debuting at No. 10 on the UK Record Store Chart with playlist support from Spotify and Apple Music, as well as critical acclaim. Temples find themselves with both feet firmly on the ground, having established a sonic signature that allows them to experiment with modern and fresh production techniques while still retaining the core of what makes a Temples record so special.

Temples are supporting Bliss with an extensive touring schedule this fall. The band kicks off in Austin with Levitation Festival, before hitting the West Coast, Canada, Europe, and the United Kingdom, and finally rounding out the tour on the East Coast with a December 2 show at Warsaw in Brooklyn.
