AC/DC take the PWR/UP Tour beyond the stage as official pop-ups continue across North America

For AC/DC, the concert experience doesn’t begin when the lights go down, and the opening riff echoes through the stadium. It starts much earlier, among fans traveling from across the country, vintage tour shirts, vinyl records tucked under their arms, and the unmistakable anticipation that surrounds every major rock show.

That anticipation has become part of the “PWR/UP Tour” itself. Following a successful run during the band’s Latin American dates earlier this year, AC/DC have brought their official PWR/UP Pop-Up experience to North America, with a dedicated stop planned in every city on the tour. The initiative was announced alongside the North American leg, expanding a concept that has already proven popular with fans.

Far more than a traditional merchandise stand, the pop-ups are designed as immersive spaces celebrating AC/DC’s legacy. Admission is free, allowing visitors to browse exclusive tour merchandise, city-specific posters, limited-edition collectibles and apparel available only during the tour. Depending on the location, fans can also explore themed installations, interactive displays and photo opportunities inspired by the band’s iconic imagery.

The concept first debuted earlier this year during the Latin American leg of the “PWR/UP Tour,” with official pop-ups opening in São PauloSantiagoBuenos Aires and Mexico City. Their success helped establish the format as a permanent feature of the current world tour, transforming it into something that extends well beyond the stage.

It’s a reflection of a growing trend among major touring artists: today’s live experience begins long before the opening song. Rather than simply attending a concert, fans are increasingly looking for ways to immerse themselves in the atmosphere surrounding an event. AC/DC have embraced that idea without compromising their identity, creating gathering places where generations of fans can celebrate more than five decades of rock history together.

As the “PWR/UP Tour” continues to draw massive crowds across North America, these official pop-ups have become more than a merchandising opportunity. They are part of the journey itself, a place to meet fellow fans, discover exclusive memorabilia and build anticipation before the amplifiers roar to life.

For those attending the upcoming dates, arriving a little early may be well worth it. Long before the opening bells of Hells Bells ring out, and Angus Young steps onto the stage, the AC/DC experience is already underway.
