If you love Bob Dylan and cinema, this event is for you! Netflix has just announced the return of “Big & Loud” at New York’s Paris Theater, with four weeks celebrating cinema. You will also have the chance to experience special guests, 70mm prints, 4k restorations, and more.
On September 2, as part of the special programming, “Stepping Into the Unknown: Films from the Bob Dylan Center” will feature a new collection of rare and previously unreleased material from the Bob Dylan Archive, followed by a discussion with the Bob Dylan Center director himself, Steven Jenkins.
Every summer, the Paris Theater becomes a must-visit spot for movie lovers in New York. As the city’s last remaining single-screen movie theater, it offers a very special way to experience films on 70mm, with Dolby Atmos sound.
Across four weeks, Big & Loud will screen 43 films, with 16 shown in 70mm and another 10 featuring specially created Dolby Atmos sound mixes. The incredible director and screenwriter Sofia Coppola will be appearing as a guest, Isabella Rossellini will appear for a Q&A following a rare 70mm screening of “White Nights.”
