Ne-Yo and Akon work together to show off their incredible discographies, with an unforgettable night at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View. Mountain View was the second-to-last stop on their “Nights Like This Tour.” Their production kept eyes on stage with pyrotechnics, multiple large screens, ascending platforms, and dancers.

Ne-Yo kicked off the show performing “Closer” and “Because of You,” getting the crowd excited early. Ne-Yo came out for his first set in a red tuxedo and fedora, dancing around the stage like Michael Jackson. Choreographed dancers were by his side as fireworks shot from the stage. He closed out with “Sexy Love.” Other songs Ne-Yo included throughout the rest of his sets are “Miss Independent,” “Let Me Love You” by Mario, “So Sick,” and many other hits.

Akon performed right after Ne-Yo as the two switched on and off stage every couple of songs. Coming out of the fog, Akon shot onto the stage. Akon began with “Beautiful Day” and “Smack That.” Akon wore an all-white outfit throughout his sets and featured outstanding stage production as well. Other hits Akon performed include “Locked Up,” “Sexy Bitch,” and “Lonely.”
