Taking Back Sunday celebrates 20 years of their album LOUDER NOW

Now I’m going to “MakeDamnSure” that you don’t leave without celebrating 20 years of an album that has shaped all early 2000s emo kids.

Louder Now was released back in April 2006 with hits from “MakeDamnSure,” “Liar,” and “What’s It Feels Like To Be A Ghost?” Every emo kid from the early 2000s or even emo kids now, still belts out these songs because it is one of those albums that are very memorable. Now it has been 20 years, which is so unbelievable. Since it has been 20 years, Taking Back Sunday (TBS) wanted to celebrate with us by releasing a deluxe anniversary edition. This includes a deluxe vinyl and CD, and features the original album with some bonus surprises.

Thank you for your response. ✨

Taking Back Sunday is a very iconic band in my opinion. Anytime I was in my early teen years and wanted to listen to emo music, that’s exactly what I looked up, and besides My Chemical Romance, Pierce The Veil, or Sleeping With Sirens, Taking Back Sunday was always on that playlist. They’re also well known for their other album, Tell All Your Friends. That is one of my top favorite albums.

Get to Know the Band:

TBS started back in 1999 and was formed in Amityville, New York. Makes me wonder, did they create their music in the Amityville house? Anyways, they released their EPs, “Taking Back Sunday” and “Lullaby,” in 2001. After 27 years together, they have eight amazing albums that are very creative and unique
