Classic rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner take over Jones Beach

On Friday, August 21, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner brought their “Double Trouble Double Vision Tour” to Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York. It featured a night full of classic rock legends and special guest opener, Six Gun Sally. Although both Rock & Roll Hall of Fame bands represent different sides of classic rock, each set was a full catalog of their most recognizable hits, filling Jones Beach with thousands of passionate fans.

Foreigner got the crowd ready with a packed set of their fan favorite songs, such as “Cold as Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Double Vision,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” “Urgent,” “Juke Box Hero,” and “I Want to Know What Love Is.” 

Lynyrd Skynyrd had a powerful set of Southern rock classics, featuring “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Free Bird,” “Simple Man,” “Tuesday’s Gone,” and “Gimme Three Steps.” The energy was undeniable as they hit the stage and had impressive visuals throughout the performance.
