Holy Pinto releases new single “Us, Forever” — new LP, Wedding Season, coming Sept 14

British indie-pop artist Holy Pinto (Aymen Saleh) has returned and announced that he will be dropping a new LP titled Wedding Season next month. This solo project by Saleh started in his hometown, Canterbury, England, and has transitioned over the years into Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It has been about six years since he made this big move over the seas, and I think our music scene has been blessed to have someone as amazing as Holy Pinto. 

Ahead of this drop, he has teased us with a total of three songs now, and “Us, Forever” is the latest drop. Saleh has been working on this new LP meticulously over the years, writing the arrangements and reworking lines to create the final version that we get to hear in full on September 14. The newest track, “Us, Forever,” touches on the intoxicating moments and feelings from the firework explosions of a relationship. It’s addicting and easy to get sucked into right away without another second thought. Wedding Season is an ambitious project that has been years of love and labor with a big concept. “Us, Forever” really digs into the overall world of the LP while showcasing Saleh’s deep and personal storytelling paired with cinematic riffs. 

I think Saleh does an amazing job with a delicate yet upbeat feeling merged together with raw, vulnerable, and authentic lyricism, striking every chord in your body. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him perform a solo acoustic set and a full band show, both of which are different experiences but still encapsulate the true emotions of Holy Pinto. 

Mark your calendars because, if you weren’t aware, he has a show on September 5 alongside Moonglow, Stray Beaut, and Watersprouts at Vivarium in Milwaukee. I’m sure it’ll be a heck of a show, so you should grab your tickets. Be sure to also stream “ Us, Forever” and the other two released tracks until the full release on September 14.
