We Came As Romans, a powerhouse American metalcore band from Michigan, have taken a new direction with this album cycle.

They’ve taken their previous release, All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed, and created reimagined versions of six songs from the album. The band shares, “ALL IS BEAUTIFUL… BECAUSE WE’RE DOOMED: CIRCULARITY is the culmination of this cycle for WCAR. We are happy to have been able to sit in a place of deep collaboration with so many artists we have toured with over the years & build strong friendships with. The new songs represent a new era for the band as we continue to write & carve out what is next.”

With the release of “red smoke ?,” they bring HEAVENSGATE onto the song with a much heavier sound. Bolder drums, heavier vocals, and an intensity to the song that wasn’t there previously. The song is filthy in the best way possible. The addition of HEAVENSGATE takes the original song and gives it a deeper level sonically while maintaining the original lyrics and speed.

This is the second collaborative song they have released from this album. Currents and After The Burial have featured on the first single “bad luck ?.”

We Came As Romans have announced that we can expect four more features from artists Dayseeker, Bury Tomorrow, Headwreck, and Ladrones. The band will also release four new songs with this album cycle that fans can look forward to.

With this single, the band gives fans a new perspective on the kind of music that WCAR can make. This forthcoming release is to prove that the band is and will remain a dominant and constituent force in the heavy music scene, and I look forward to the additional collaborations.
