KATSEYE is setting records with the release of their third EP, “WILD,” which hit No. 1 on Billboard 200. This is a revolutionary milestone because it is the first time any girl group in this generation has taken the No. 1 spot. The HYBE x Geffen Records group opened with 170,000 album units earned. This was the largest Billboard 200 debut by a United States girl group in 18 years.
With Billboard Hot 100 singles “PINKY UP” and “Animal,” “WILD” explores themes of desire, transformation, and freedom. “PINKY UP” earned KATSEYE two nominations at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, Best K-Pop and Best Choreography. Following their release, “WILD” starred on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The group starred in a film, “KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS,” which earned almost $8 million across the world during the first weekend. In North America, during the first week, it made over $4 million, and over $3.8 million across other regions.
Katesye will be starting “THE WILDWORLD TOUR” on September 1 at Dublin’s 3 Arena. This tour sold out in less than 48 hours. With a chart-topping EP, a successful film, and a sold-out tour, “WILD” has been KATSEYE’s biggest commercial breakthrough.
