Fight From Within are kicking off a new chapter with “The End of My Rope,” and they’re not exactly easing into it. The upstate New York metalcore, hardcore band comes out swinging with a track that leans hard into the frustration behind its title, mixing the beatdown-heavy side of their sound with the kind of urgency that feels made for a packed club room. This new single will have the listener expressing all sorts of release, mostly in the hardcore dance style “crowdkilling”

I’ve seen firsthand how much work this band has put in, and “End of My Rope” feels like another step forward because of it. From the music itself to the way they’ve built their image around it, Fight from Within has been pretty consistent about making everything feel so intentional. The timing of this release also lines up with a bigger stretch for the band. Fight from Within are heading out on the “Absence of God” tour supporting Tallah, giving “The End of My Rope” the perfect exposure and atmosphere the single was built for.

There’s been plenty happening behind the scenes for Fight from Within as well. The band is now managed by Eric Ellis, formerly of Bury Your Dead, and this new single was produced by Daniel Thabet of Liquid Studios. Both additions give the band a little more weight behind what they’re already building, especially with a new single out and a tour with Tallah ahead of them.

Fight From Within have the metalcore sound down to a science, with hardcore smothered on top like a truck stop cinnamon roll. This new single they’re promoting is another song made to scream along to while elbows are swinging and knees are flying. More than anything, it’s just cool as hell watching a smaller band grind this hard and start landing the kind of shows they’ve clearly worked for. Go stream it and catch them when they’re near!
