ADÉLA releases debut album ‘PRIMA’

Alongside music video for album track “Nicole Kidman

ADÉLA has officially entered her next era with the release of her debut album PRIMA, out now via Capitol Records. Co-executively produced by Blake Slatkin and Dylan Brady, the album sees the rising pop artist embracing the ambition, vulnerability, confidence, and chaos that come with chasing pop stardom in your early twenties. Following last year’s “The Provocateur” EP, PRIMA offers a more expansive look at ADÉLA’s artistry, moving between hard-hitting pop production and more intimate, emotionally exposed moments.

Alongside the album, ADÉLA has released a new music video for “Nicole Kidman” directed by Hannah Lux Davis. The cinematic visual pays tribute to some of Nicole Kidman’s most recognizable roles, including Eyes Wide Shut, Moulin Rouge!, Birth, and Babygirl, while also nodding to her iconic AMC Theatres commercial. ADÉLA spoke to W Magazine about the song, how it was inspired by her fascination with the actress, and a moment when, dressed up for a Golden Globes event, she felt like she had stepped into her own movie star fantasy.

The release arrives during a major year for ADÉLA, who recently scored her first Billboard Hot 100 entry with “Ain’t In LA”. Inspired in part by her return to Bratislava and her mother’s own youthful dreams of pop culture and stardom, the track has continued climbing the chart since its debut. Across PRIMA, ADÉLA builds on that same larger-than-life ambition, blending playful confidence with more vulnerable tracks such as “Therapy” and “Hitachi”.

With PRIMA now out, ADÉLA is taking the new music on the road for her first-ever headline North American tour, which sold out within minutes. The tour launches September 9 and includes stops in Detroit, Toronto, New York, Nashville, Atlanta, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Mexico, before she heads to Europe and the UK for another sold-out headline run in 2027. As ADÉLA continues her push toward becoming “the prima ballerina of pop,” PRIMA marks the first major step in that ambition.
