| RAYE is a British artist from London who has made a name for herself in recent years with music that blends pop, R&B, jazz, soul and orchestral influences. Her track “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” recently surpassed one billion streams on Spotify, a success. Released in 2025, the track reached number one in the United Kingdom and remained on the Billboard Hot 100 for several months. In March 2026, she released her second album, THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE, an album structured around four “seasons” that tells a story of a journey from darkness to light, exploring themes of hope, resilience, and personal transformation. It has been a success in the U.K. and across Europe. This record is also shortlisted for this year’s “Mercury Prize.” RAYE has just released the official music video for “Joy.,” a single from her album THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE, featuring her sisters Amma and Absolutely. In the video, the three sisters drive through the streets of London in their van, the “Joymobile,” handing out sunflowers to passersby and capturing moments of joy. Clips from the shoot had already gone viral on TikTok and Instagram. The track is also receiving radio support, in the United Kingdom notably from BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2. The track will be released on U.S. pop radio on September 22. She undertook a 51-date tour across the U.K., Europe, and North America, including six sold-out shows at London’s O2 before joining Bruno Mars as a guest on several dates of his North American tour. RAYE has already made BRIT Awards history in 2024 by winning six awards, including Album of the Year. She has also received awards for her songwriting and artistic commitment.
