Atlantic Records and Rockstar Games have announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack album arriving alongside Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19.
The album will feature 34 exclusive new tracks built around the world of Vice City and Leonida, bringing together a wide-ranging roster of artists across hip hop, pop, electronic music, Latin music, country, and rock.
Six debut singles from the project are available now, offering the first look at how Atlantic and Rockstar are shaping the sound of the game’s next era. The initial wave includes tracks from Yung Lean with Future and Metro Boomin, Travis Scott with production from Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso with PinkPantheress, Fred again.., and Etienne de Crécy, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, and Keith Richards.
The first batch of singles gives Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album an intentionally scattered but high-impact introduction. Yung Lean’s “That’s It” features Future and Metro Boomin, while Travis Scott’s “RHYNO” arrives with production from Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.
Elsewhere, CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso team with PinkPantheress, Fred again.., and Etienne de Crécy on “Sexy Magic,” Morgan Wallen contributes “Last Thing You Need,” Rauw Alejandro appears with “Macacoa 2000,” and Keith Richards closes the initial reveal with “Bright Lights, Big City.”
On paper, that lineup reads like someone left a streaming algorithm alone in a room with a monkey, albeit one with great taste. In practice, that kind of collision is exactly what has long made Grand Theft Auto soundtracks matter. The series has never treated music like background decoration. It uses songs, radio stations, and score to build atmosphere, attitude, and cultural texture.
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is being positioned as a companion to the game’s version of Vice City and the broader state of Leonida. The release is set to land alongside the next evolution of the franchise’s in-game radio stations, dynamic score, and musical touchpoints.
That is important because music has always been part of the franchise’s identity. From radio station curation to original songs and score work, Grand Theft Auto has repeatedly used music to define the feeling of its cities. The right track in the right car at the wrong possible moment is basically half the franchise’s emotional architecture.
Atlantic Records’ role in assembling the album gives the project a major-label scale, while Rockstar’s history with music-driven worldbuilding gives it a clear function beyond simple soundtrack packaging. The announcement frames the album as part of the larger atmosphere of Grand Theft Auto VI, not just a promotional side release.
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is available for pre-order now and will launch with multiple vinyl and CD editions. Atlantic Records exclusives include a limited-edition liquid-filled vinyl, a splatter-edition vinyl, and a CD jewel case, each featuring exclusive artwork and packaging designs tied to the visual style of Grand Theft Auto VI.
Additional retail exclusives are planned for Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters, and independent record stores. Each version will feature its own vinyl pressing design and poster.
Grand Theft Auto VI is set in Vice City and Leonida, following Jason and Lucia as an easy score goes wrong and pulls them into a criminal conspiracy across the state. The game arrives November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-orders available now.
The album will arrive the same day, giving the next chapter of Grand Theft Auto a standalone musical release built to match the scale of the game. With 34 original tracks and a first wave of singles that jumps from Travis Scott and Yung Lean to Rauw Alejandro and Keith Richards, the project is already leaning into the kind of genre collision that has defined the series’ music identity for years.
If the first six singles are any indication, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is aiming for more than a companion playlist. It is being built as part of the world itself.
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album launches November 19 via Atlantic Records and Rockstar Games.
