After playing sold-out shows across Europe last month, Current Joys blesses fans with new track “CHAOS,” a sneak peek at his album ROSEBUD, coming November 6. The music video directed by Jaxon Ray shows chaotic energy, including dirt bike riding, fire stunts, and firearms in an outdoor setting. The editing style is fast-paced and layered, using handheld footage.
Nick Rattigan, professionally known as Current Joys, prepares to release ROSEBUD, an album with maximalist production and anthemic choruses. Rattigan wrote and recorded this project during a difficult period and found himself with half an hour of slowcore songs he wasn’t satisfied with. His eyes were set on the high-concept production of experimental hip-hop artists, and he was able to work with Lil Yachty, Polo Perks, Ayooli, and others.
