On September 24, The Pretty Reckless brought their “Dear God Tour” to House of Blues Boston, with Paris Jackson opening.

Paris started the night with her own songs, including “happiest day of my life” and “teenage drama.” She also covered Blind Melon’s “No Rain.” During that song, she turned her setlist into a paper airplane and tossed it into the crowd.

The Pretty Reckless came on next and opened with “Death by Rock and Roll.” Taylor Momsen and the band kept the energy up all night, playing songs from across their career.

A particularly emotional moment came when Momsen performed “Devil in Disguise (Michelle’s Song),” a song that she wrote for her former co-star and friend Michelle Trachtenberg, who passed away in 2025.

The band also played “Make Me Wanna Die,” which actually was The Pretty Reckless’ first single and one of the songs I was most excited to hear live.

Overall, The Pretty Reckless put on such an incredible show, and I’m really glad I got to see the “Dear God Tour” when it came through Boston!!
