Monarch, Dead Poet Society‘s anticipated new album, is out now on all streaming platforms. Alongside the release, the band decided to create a unique visualizer on their YouTube for each song that did not receive a music video. This is a beautiful addition to the project, expanding the visual identity of the album beyond the previous music videos for “Cold,” “Roach,” and “Sinner Systems.”
Monarch was produced by Mutemath frontman Paul Meany, who worked with Twenty One Pilots and Pierce The Veil, and is already highly praised, with Revolver sharing its “tense and knotted with danceable dread,” Kerrang! portraying the songs as “seething,” and Consequence characterizing the tracks as a “glorious success.”

Vocalist and guitarist Jack Underkofler shared on the band’s writing approach, “We wanted to carve out our own piece of territory (…); I just wanted to swing for the fences with this one. All the things I felt made us, I wanted to see how much deeper I could go with them and try to boil down the essence of the feeling that makes Dead Poet Society who we are.”

The band is now headed internationally, with a co-headlining tour with Honey’s Revenge on October 23, and joining Muse from November 12 through December 8 in Europe and in the U.K., resuming their U.S. tour on December 11. In 2027, Dead Poet Society will come back to the U.K. and Europe for their own tour. Tickets for all dates are available via Wearedps.com.
Monarch is available now (https://deadpoetsociety.lnk.to/Monarch) on multiple limited-edition vinyl variants, including a version featuring an expanded booklet, as well as CD and digital.
