First track ‘Lost In Translation‘ is out now! Listen here.

Set for release on January 22 through Sumerian Records, Amsterdamage is available to pre-order now, with a limited-edition version also containing the bonus track “The Unholy One.” The new record follows an intense period for the band, who spent much of 2025 touring while writing the album. Its creation stretched from the San Diego coastline to the Netherlands before the final work was completed at Chris Greatti’s studio in Los Angeles.

The album also follows the loss of the brothers’ mother, Stephanie Rachel, to cancer in 2024. She was one of their biggest supporters and the person who first taught them that art was something nobody could ever take away from them.

Emerson said: “I think if we didn’t have this album, we would have all kind of gone separate ways. After losing our mother, this is our phoenix rising from the ashes. Each one of us took our own paths in dealing with death, and rejoined not only as individuals, but with our partners, and as brothers. This creative bond was the thing that kept us together”

Alongside the album announcement, Palaye Royale have revealed a major international tour, with dates across Europe beginning in March before the band head to North America in April.

Palaye Royale have already built a global following since forming in 2008, reaching over a billion streams and establishing a worldwide following. The upcoming shows will follow their latest chapter after signing with United Kingdom-based Expectation Management.

“Lost In Translation” offers the first preview of what listeners can expect from Amsterdamage. The track looks back to the mid-2000s British rock that influenced the band, while its lyrics centre on the frustration of fighting to make something work, whether that is a relationship, an ambition or a dream.

Remington on “Lost In Translation:” “We felt pretty nostalgic writing this one. It took us back to the music we grew up on, which was a lot of mid-2000s Brit rock bands. We wanted something upbeat and one that would go crazy live, but the lyrics represent wanting to make something work so bad, whether it be a dream or a relationship, and it seems like something is in the way of it working out and trying to push through at any cost”
