Carnifex recently released their new single “Licking Love From A Knife.” This is the third single off their upcoming album MORE THAN MISERY, which will be released in November with Sumerian Records.
“Licking Love From A Knife” is an anthem about survival from a toxic relationship. This track ropes you in with a long romantic intro, then opens up into a brutal and intense breakdown. Featuring all the elements Deathcore has to offer, this song growls, screams, and squeals, taking you down the path of emotions that happen within a toxic love. Lewis shared, “Licking Love From A Knife is my favorite song on More Than Misery and a song that I hope speaks deeply to our fans that have survived toxic relationships.”
Carnifex are a Deathcore band from Southern California formed in 2005 by vocalist Scott Ian Lewis and drummer Shawn Cameron. The upcoming release of More Than Misery will be the band’s first full-length album for Sumerian Records.
