Suicide Silence unleash “Reminders of Hell” ahead of new album ‘Graceless’

Deathcore veterans Suicide Silence have released “Reminders of Hell,” the third single from their upcoming album Graceless, arriving November 20. The band will bring its North American headlining tour to Denver’s Summit Music Hall on December 4.

California deathcore veterans Suicide Silence have unleashed “Reminders of Hell,” the third single from their upcoming eighth studio album, Graceless, arriving November 20 through Century Media Records.

Released October 22, the new track arrives alongside a drum playthrough video featuring Ernie Iniguez, putting the drummer’s technical precision and intensity at the center of the presentation. It’s a fitting choice for a band whose music has always depended on the physical impact of its rhythm section as much as its guitars and vocals.

“Reminders of Hell” follows the previously released singles “Graceless” and “Make Your Exit,” giving listeners three distinct previews of the band’s next chapter.

In a statement accompanying the release, Suicide Silence described each song as bringing a different kind of intensity to the record. The band characterized “Graceless” as crushing, “Make Your Exit” as particularly bouncy, and “Reminders of Hell” as a more multidimensional track that explores heavier territory.

The accompanying video offers a closer look at Iniguez’s playing, emphasizing the precision required to perform music that moves between punishing grooves, rapid-fire percussion, and abrupt rhythmic changes. For listeners interested in the musicianship behind extreme metal, the playthrough provides a different perspective on the recording.

The upcoming Graceless also marks another stage in Suicide Silence’s ongoing relationship with the genre they helped establish. Emerging from California’s Inland Empire in the early 2000s, the band became one of deathcore’s defining names by combining death metal’s extremity with the confrontational energy of hardcore and the rhythmic influence of nü-metal.

More than two decades later, Suicide Silence remain closely associated with the sound they helped bring to a wider audience. Their early work influenced an entire generation of extreme metal musicians, and their continued presence reflects a band that has survived significant changes within both its lineup and the genre itself.

According to guitarist Chris Garza, the creative direction behind Graceless has involved returning to the collaborative instincts that shaped the band’s earliest material. Rather than approaching songwriting through a predetermined formula, the musicians have focused on developing songs together in the same room, allowing ideas to evolve through rehearsal and experimentation.

That approach gives the upcoming record a direct connection to the band’s origins. Suicide Silence built their reputation on an uncompromising style of heavy music, and the material released so far points toward a renewed emphasis on the aggression, groove, and collective musicianship that established their identity.

The current lineup features Eddie Hermida on vocals, Chris Garza and Mark Heylmun on guitar, Dan Kenny on bass, and Ernie Iniguez on drums.

Graceless will feature 11 tracks and will be available digitally, on CD, and across several vinyl editions. Limited pressings include pearlescent sunrise, iridescent pearl horizon, caramel cream, orange smoke, mineral, and gold black ice variants.

Suicide Silence will bring the new material to the stage this fall on the North American “Reminders of Hell Tour,” featuring support from Emmure, AngelMaker, and Synestia.

The tour begins November 6 in Riverside, California, and runs through December 13 in Los Angeles, bringing together four acts that represent different corners of modern deathcore and extreme metal.

For Colorado fans, the tour arrives at Summit Music Hall in Denver on Friday, December 4. With Emmure, AngelMaker, and Synestia sharing the bill, the Denver stop promises a particularly heavy night at one of the city’s established venues for metal and hardcore.
