Behind The Gallery is set to launch YUNGBLUD: IDOLS, a London-exclusive exhibition by acclaimed music photographer and three-time Abbey Road Award recipient Tom Pallant. Opening at Union Pacific from 20th to 22nd November 2026, the three-day, free event provides a rare, backstage perspective on one of modern alt-rock’s most polarising and dynamic performers.

Serving as both YUNGBLUD’s visual strategist and close confidant, Pallant has spent years documenting the performer’s meteoric rise. His lens has captured everything from frantic stadium shows across the globe to pivotal career milestones, including four UK chart-topping records, three Grammy nods, and a momentous show at Villa Park for Back to the Beginning. The upcoming collection offers a comprehensive look at the IDOLS chapter, tracking the project from its early studio sessions to the high-voltage tours that followed.

Fresh off its initial run in Sydney, the UK presentation brings these stark, monochrome visuals back to the artist’s home ground. Attendees will get to view dozens of unreleased shots that highlight the grit, strain, and uninhibited emotion existing beyond the stage lights. Every frame on display has been produced as a collectible, museum-grade print on Hahnemühle fine art paper, complete with Pallant’s signature for gallery visitors to acquire.

Reflecting on the upcoming show, Pallant noted that bringing the collection to London offers a meaningful way to cap off the IDOLS era. He shared that his artistic focus has always tilted toward the quiet, candid moments framing a performance, hoping visitors step away with a deeper appreciation of the full journey. Behind The Gallery’s Creative Director, Stephen Dallimore, echoed this sentiment, emphasising how uncommon it is for a single photographer to frame a musician’s world with such nuance and intimacy.
