Live Nation has announced UK and Europe dates for Carnaval De Luz presents: The Greatest Show On Earth, U2‘s world tour which will take place in select stadiums in 2027.
Carnaval De Luz is U2’s sixteenth studio album, which will be released on November 13, 2026, on Island Records. It marks the band’s first new material in nine years.
A brand new track, “The Greatest Show on Earth,” is out now. Co-written by U2 and Brian Eno, it is the third single to be released from Carnaval De Luz. The track is a story of lovers fighting to keep faith in each other, and faith itself. The music video is directed by Anton Corbijn and was shot in the Californian desert.
U2 recently celebrated the band’s 50th anniversary on Friday, September 25, with plans for The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour already in the works for 2028.
The Edge said, “We can’t say too much about the next leg of The Greatest Show On Earth — we’re still figuring it out — but what we can say is, we’ll be wrapping it up in Ireland. There’s nowhere else we’d want to be for that party.”
