On October 28th, 2026, the band After performed a sold-out show at Brighton Music Hall in Boston.
Opening the night was Silverdeer. They had great stage presence and the crowd really enjoyed their set, with plenty of head-bopping, jumping, and people just vibing along. One highlight was their cover of No Doubt’s “Hella Good.” The crowd was so into it!
This was my second time seeing After, almost exactly a year later, with the band now on their headlining tour supporting their debut album, Fell Asleep in the Sun. The band opened with “Snowburn” and throughout the night, performed a mix of songs from their discography, including “Deep Diving,” “Metal,” “Take Me to Sunrise,” and the title track.
I love After’s Y2K-inspired sound and their laid-back stage presence, which definitely added to the overall atmosphere of the show. The colorful projections displayed on the screen behind them also complemented their sound, with different images and colors throughout the performance.
“Fell Asleep in the Sun” was my favorite song of the night. I really love the vibe of the song and it was great getting to hear it live.
The band ended the night with “Outbound.” During the song, they encouraged the crowd to sing along and the audience was so incredibly loud. It was such a great way to close out the night.
