Haute & Freddy released new single “Film Noir,” which was written and produced by the duo, as well as an original music video directed by Amalia Irons. Constructed around the treacherous glamour and hazy romanticism of the song’s namesake genre, “Film Noir” turns love into a wonderfully twisted mystery — one where desire and danger become progressively difficult to discern from each other.
Addressing the song’s theatrical inspiration, Haute & Freddy share: “It should come as no shock to the royal court that we wanted our Halloween offering to feel as though the phantom himself created it… though no mere mortal could ever wear his mask, we can always try to conjure as much drama and lust into 3:48 seconds.”

“Film Noir” dropped with a B-side, Haute & Freddy’s take on Peter Gabriel’s classic “In Your Eyes.” The cover is one of two songs by the duo that are featured in Prime Video’s new Amazon Original horror adaptation Carrie, alongside their Amazon Music Original, “Do You Remember The Lilacs.” – OUT NOW!

Carrie, created for television by Mike Flanagan and based on the iconic debut novel of Stephen King, is a fearless, contemporary reinvention of the classic coming-of-age horror story. The series follows Carrie White as bullying, social-media cruelty, and increasing pressures clash with the arrival of her mysterious telekinetic powers. Haute & Freddy recently extended their singular visual universe into fashion with a collaboration with the iconic Vancouver footwear designer John Fluevog. Already known for admiring Fluevog and wearing them on stage as well as in the “Touch Touch” video, Michelle and Lance worked alongside the designer on two custom tartan-inspired styles named “Haute” and “Freddy.” The shoes, created for the duo’s stage wardrobe, debuted during their sold-out Vancouver show at the Hollywood Theatre in September.
Haute & Freddy continue their rapid year on the road, bringing the world of Big Disgrace to stages around the world for much of 2026. After their sold-out North American dates and festival performances, the duo will head out on the U.K. and European leg of their SOLD-OUT Big Disgrace World Tour on November 4 in Berlin with stops in Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne, Paris, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Galway, Dublin, and more, with two shows in Mexico City this December. The duo has also announced their 2027 Australian tour dates, including headlining shows in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, as well as festival performances at WOMADelaide and Golden Plains in March.
