On November 3, 2026, Knox brought My Midwest Best Tour to Austin’s iconic Emo’s. The show was wonderful from start to finish, and if you have the chance to catch this tour, I highly recommend you do so.

Opening the show was Emi Grace, who proved within seconds of taking the stage that she is a total rockstar. She’s absolutely killer at guitar and brings a strong sense of artistry to the stage. Kicking off her set with “Nerve,” she also played songs like “Talk About It,” “Mr. Melodramatic,” and “Known Better.” She pairs heavy guitar riffs with an authentic identity that’s great to see.

When Knox took the stage, he immediately opened with his catchy track “4.3 Forty.” He carries a lot of confidence on the stage, and it is so wonderful to see someone have such a fun time playing shows. This is the second time I’ve seen him live, and he puts on such a genuinely fun show that you can’t help but dance and sing along to. Having caught his live set before, it’s clear that his growth as an artist has only sharpened, and his creative songs translate perfectly live.

Knox’s music gives you that nostalgic 2000s feel, with catchy alt/pop-rock hooks and highly relatable lyrics. His setlist included songs like “After the After Party,” “Go for Broke,” “Better Than Me,” and his breakout anthem “Not the 1975.” Throwing in a 5 Seconds of Summer mashup into one of his songs as well, he caught people off guard, but in a good way! His set included fun moments not only like that, but also with a cute robot that came on stage and did flips.

Again, the My Midwest Best tour is not one to miss. From Emi Grace’s guitar work to Knox’s fun and energetic stage presence, it reminded everyone why live music is so special.

This tour continues until March 2027, and will hit other countries as well. For dates and more information, visit here.
