Nov. 8, 2025 – Following the release of their twelfth album Horizons/West, Thrice went out on a fall North American tour with Modern Color and Downward. The tour’s stop at Majestic Theater in Detroit did not disappoint.
As a long time fan of all the bands on the lineup, this was one of my most anticipated shows of the year. It was my first time seeing both Modern Color and Thrice, as well as my second time seeing Downward. Each band sounded incredible live and played some of my favorite songs as well. Songs like “Gnash,” “Crooked Shadows,” and “Albatross” were some of my personal favorites on the setlist. The setlist was heavy with songs from their newest album, which were all amazing live.
The crowd for this show was super energetic during Thrice’s set, singing the words to every song, throwing their arms up, and crowd surfing. It was clear how much these songs meant to every single person in the crowd.
