As part of one of the most anticipated days for music fans, Record Store Day – Saturday, April 18 – Collective Soul will release a brand-new full-length album exclusively at independent record stores. The new album, Touch and Go, features 10 tracks and showcases a fresh musical direction for the band, drawing inspiration from new wave influences and bands like The Cars.

Touch and Go will be available as a special 180-gram colored vinyl release, complete with a 12” x 24” poster, making it a must-have for collectors and longtime fans alike.

In addition to new music, the band continues to celebrate their legacy with “Give Me A Word: The Collective Soul Story,” a documentary that explores the band’s untold history, creative journey, and family dynamic. The film was recorded at Elvis Presley’s Palm Springs estate in early 2023 during the recording of their album Here to Eternity. Collective Soul holds the distinction of being the only artist besides Elvis to record at the historic location. The documentary also features archival footage from throughout the band’s career.

Collective Soul, who have sold over 15 million albums worldwide and earned six Gold and Platinum releases, continue to connect with fans on the road. With seven No. 1 singles, including “Shine,” “December,” and “The World I Know,” the band recently wrapped up a Las Vegas residency and is preparing for upcoming U.S. headlining shows, along with appearances on Creed’s “Summer of ’99 and Beyond Cruise,” with more dates to be announced soon.
