Sublime release new song “Gangstalker”

Sublime just dropped another new track, “Gangstalker,” and it’s a blast of chaotic energy. Jakob Nowell described it as a fast-paced California punk anthem, saying the song came together in the studio exactly the way he imagined it. The drums and guitar work give it that raw, unfiltered feel that longtime Sublime fans will appreciate.

The release follows the band’s recent singles “Can’t Miss You” and “Until the Sun Explodes,” which have been a huge success, reaching No. 1 on both the Mediabase Alternative and Billboard Alternative Airplay charts. The song is especially meaningful as it serves as Jakob’s tribute to his late father, Bradley Nowell.

Sublime has also been celebrating the upcoming 30th anniversary of their iconic self-titled 1996 album. The band recently played two sold-out nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and opened the “Sublime: Straight From Long Beach” exhibit at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. They’ve also launched their own touring music festival and announced the Sublime Reef Madness cruise later this year.

With new music, anniversary celebrations, and a packed schedule ahead, it’s an exciting time to be a Sublime fan.
