To Write Love On Her Arms hosts documentary screening of To Write Love at Vans Warped Tour Long Beach on Friday, July 24

June 29, 2026 – Los Angeles, California – Life-changing mental health non-profit To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA), a community that grew from Vans Warped Tour, will celebrate its 20th anniversary during the weekend of the festival’s Long Beach dates next month. Join the many artists, advocates, and partners who have worked to amplify its cause throughout the years for a special screening of their moving documentary “To Write Love” on Friday, July 24, from 7-8 p.m. PT at the Art Theater of Long Beach (2025 E 4th Street).

Following the film, TWLOHA founder Jamie Tworkowski will be joined by Vans Warped Tour Founder, Kevin Lyman, and other special guests for a candid chat about how they got here and why this work still matters. Every ticket, every seat taken, every individual in that room takes the group one step closer to their goal of sponsoring 20,000 hours of mental health therapy.

Tickets are currently on sale at the LINK HERE. All revenues will go straight to fund mental health services this year through their Treatment & Recovery Program.

The documentary investigates what happens when vulnerability turns into action and how you can help individuals get the help they need and deserve. It’s the story of a rising chorus of optimism that became a lifeline for millions. It mixes interviews with some of the organization’s most passionate supporters, including Paramore, Miley Cyrus, Anberlin, Switchfoot, and more, with the voices of those who labor relentlessly day after day to bring resources to those who need it most. You’ll hear from the people who started it all, the people whose lives were affected, and the dedicated people who continue to foster honest talks and accessible care decades later.

“We’re incredibly grateful to celebrate 20 years and to share the ongoing story of this movement. The documentary weaves together the voices of the people who kept fighting for this conversation, for their own stories, and for their communities,” shares Executive Director Lindsay Kolsch. “What you experience in this film is a true picture of what happens when thousands of people start to believe that it’s not weak to ask for help, and that sharing our stories gives others permission and courage to do the same.”

“This movement has played a significant part in why the conversations around mental health are no longer ones people feel they have to keep quiet. We made this documentary with the hope that it moves anyone still sitting in silence. We want people to know that hope is real, help is real, and your story matters,” Kolsch adds.
