KT Tunstall came out like the bright light that she is and immediately proved she didn’t need a massive production or a crowded stage to command the room. She was a badass, a true one-woman show, and completely owned every second she was up there. Raw, confident, and full of personality, Tunstall made it impossible not to watch.
Then Gavin DeGraw hit the stage and took the energy to another level. Flawless from start to finish, DeGraw brought serious intensity to every song, tearing through his biggest hits with the kind of energy that keeps a crowd locked in. And his band… absolutely spot on. Every member brought something to the stage, making them impossible to take your eyes off. Tight, energetic, and clearly having a blast.
The set went beyond the expected hits with two standout covers: Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” and a soulful, powerful take on Joe Cocker’s version of “With a Little Help from My Friends.” The latter especially gave the set a completely different edge and showed off another side of DeGraw’s live performance.
Then O.A.R. came in with the energy turned all the way up. Full-blown, nonstop energy from beginning to end, they had the crowd moving, singing, and completely locked into the moment. O.A.R. came to play, and they made sure everyone in the room felt it.
Three artists. Three completely different approaches to the stage. KT Tunstall brought the fire and attitude, Gavin DeGraw brought precision and power, and O.A.R. brought the full-on party. Together, they made for one hell of a night of live music.
