Some shows are a dream you don’t want to wake up from, and a moment you wish you could hold onto a little longer. Cannons brought all of that and more to the stage.

Opening the night was Caroline Kingsbury, whose sound felt like a mix of Cyndi Lauper’s playful, ’80s pop energy and the  charm of Jem and the Holograms. Her set was colorful, fun, and full of personality, setting the tone for a night that felt like girl power.

Then came Cannons, and suddenly everything felt dreamy, magical, and effortlessly beautiful. With Michelle Joy’s vocals floating over the bands rhythms, the entire room seemed to fall into a trance. Their sound has a way of pulling you in, wrapping you up, and making the outside world disappear for a while.

There’s something special about the way Cannons blend dreamy pop, nostalgic melodies, and a touch of darkness into something that feels both intimate and larger than life. Every song felt like its own little universe, filled with emotion and beauty that you never want to leave.

Cannons created a world you could get lost in, if only for a little while. And that’s the kind of magic live music is all about.
