Kilby Block Party is back with another stacked lineup. The Salt Lake City festival has announced the first wave of artists for its 2027 edition, bringing Deftones, The Strokes, Jungle, Fontaines D.C., and Slayyyter to the Utah State Fairpark from May 14–16.

Presented by S&S Presents, the three-day event marks the festival’s eighth year and continues its run as a major destination for fans of independent music. The 2027 bill currently features 70 artists, with more names expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Kilby Block Party has built its reputation on lineups that pull from across the musical spectrum, pairing established acts with artists who bring something a little different to the mix, which has helped turn this festival into one that draws fans to Salt Lake City from all over the world. Last year, Lorde called it “the absolute coolest festival ever,” while Salt Lake City Weekly described it as a “can’t-miss experience.” In its review, Stereogum praised the festival as “clearly booked by human beings,” adding, “You can go to Kilby and get excited about music.” I was there for all the action last year and could not agree more; Kilby Block Party was my favorite fest of 2026.

Fans can get an early shot at passes through the KeyBank presale, which runs from Wednesday, October 28, at noon MT until Thursday, October 29, at 9 a.m. MT. A KeyBank account or existing banking relationship isn’t required to participate.
The general sale for three-day passes opens Thursday, October 29, at 10 a.m. MT through the festival’s official website. Three-day passes start at $245, with payment plans available from $49 down. Following a record-setting sellout of this year’s early-bird tickets, both the presale and general sale will offer Tier 1 pricing while supplies last. Tickets and travel packages are available at KilbyBlockParty.com.

There is plenty happening outside the festival grounds, too. After the main sets wrap up, fans can keep the music going at official aftershows in smaller venues around Salt Lake City, and with local coffee shops, restaurants, and a thriving arts scene to explore, there’s no shortage of ways to spend the rest of the weekend.

In addition to the stellar lineup of musical acts, festivalgoers can expect food and drink vendors, independent retailers, local creatives, advocacy groups, record shopping, and artist merchandise. The annual Crusher Cup skateboarding competition also returns as part of the broader festival experience, alongside the ever-popular silent disco.

Kilby Block Party’s mix of music, community, and local culture has been what has always set it apart from other festivals. What started in 2019 as a one-day celebration of the 20th anniversary of Kilby Court, Salt Lake City’s longtime all-ages music venue, has since grown into a three-day gathering that drew more than 30,000 attendees per day last year.

Kilby Block Party brings more than just music to Utah. The festival drew nearly 16,000 visitors from outside of Utah, who spent an estimated $24.7 million during their visit. The event’s overall impact was even bigger, contributing $33.5 million to Utah’s GDP and generating $3.3 million in state and local tax revenue. According to the festival’s 2026 economic impact report, Kilby Block Party also helped support an estimated 419 jobs for Utah residents, with $17.2 million going toward local wages.

With Deftones, The Strokes, Jungle, Fontaines D.C. and Slayyyter already confirmed, Kilby Block Party 2027 is shaping up to be another busy weekend for music fans heading to Salt Lake City. Make sure to keep an eye out, as more artists are expected to be announced over the coming weeks.
